A Message from Dr. Morgan Smith, Principal Fountain Valley High School:
I am concerned about the future of PTSA at FVHS. We have a great group of volunteers at our school that support so many activities and at this time we are in need of a president on our PTSA Executive Board. According to PTA bylaws the organization cannot operate without a president and without a president it will lose its charter on October 15. If FVHS PTSA loses its charter these are some of the programs that will be in jeopardy: Reflections, Every Fifteen Minutes, Student Achievement Awards and Baccalaureate. Because of the situation there will be fewer commitments this year so a new president can easily step in and assume the role. PTSA is one of the only organizations on campus that support all of our students. It has been part of FVHS since 1966 and I would really hate to see it go. If you are interested in the position or want more information please email email@example.com by September 30, 2017.
FVHS PTSA was pleased to award six students at the Senior Honors Night in June with the 2017 Evie Belgen Scholarship. We are proud to recognize the following students and wish them the best as they move on to college!
